My Crazy Antic

Since it is some sort of an initiation to be considered an official CPer, I went ahead and took the plunge. Enjoy, but don't laugh.

Quote of the Day

My brother asked me if I had a quote of the day for my blog, which gave me the idea that it would be a fun thing to have. Here's the first one to start it off:

"Our new Constitution is now established, and has an appearance that promises permanency; but in this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes." ~ Benjamin Franklin

It will most likely not be every day. Might end up being every week. Peace out!

Begining of the Grand Experiment

Just this morning, we got our little chicks. It's hard to believe that something so cute can grow into something so ugly! Oh well. God has His ways of manifesting Himself in His creatures. We'll be butchering them in about 8 weeks or so. I'll post some pictures when I have the time.

Peace out!

Up from the "blogging dead"

I thought that I'd come up from dead and revive my blog to update you on what's going on in my life.

There's not a whole lot going on. I'm still hashing away at my Liberal Studies degree through CollegePlus!. I've made my way up to 51 credits! Thanks be to God that I have had success on my last several tests! I'm currently working on College Math CLEP and Intro to World Religions DANTES. I'm looking forward to the last one more than I am the first :D.

I've been doing lots of thinking and praying lately about what God wants me to do with my life. What my career is supposed to be, who I'm supposed to marry etc. I've been coming to a lot of places where I just break down out of frustration. But, I am reminded in Scripture that it is God who has and is working all things together for my good, and for His glory! To whoever is reading this, I ask you to please pray for me as I go through these tough areas. Pray that I would trust God wholly, and that I would be patient as these questions get answered gradually.

In March, I had the AMAZING privilege to travel to Sioux City, IA, and attend the wedding of 2 amazingly wonderful people. I wish you the very best Aaron and Anna, and I love you both as my brother and sister in Christ!

That's about it for now. I'll try to do better about updating this thing. I never really got into it! Hehe

God Bless
